128 flights cancelled, eight diverted, 200 delayed at Delhi Airport

New Delhi: At least 128 flights were cancelled, eight diverted, and nearly 200 delayed at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport due to dense fog and poor visibility, officials said.
According to Kashmir Media Service, 64 departures and 64 arrivals were called off, while eight flights had to be diverted. Flight-tracking platforms indicated an average delay of around 24 minutes for affected services.
Delhi Airport operator DIAL stated that runway visibility is gradually improving, but some departures and arrivals may still be impacted. IndiGo Airlines also reported cancellations of 80 flights across its network due to adverse weather conditions.
Authorities warned passengers to expect slower flight movements and advised checking with airlines before travel. Dense fog continues to affect air traffic across Delhi and northern India, disrupting normal flight schedules.
