Shabbir Shah’s bail plea to be heard on Jan 13
New Delhi: Indian Supreme Court will hear senior Kashmiri Huriyat leader Shabbir Ahmed Shah’s bail plea in a fake case on January 13.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Shah has challenged the Delhi High Court’s June 12 order denying him bail. Hurriyat leader’s counsel, senior advocate Colin Gonsalves, appeared before a bench of Justices Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta.
India’s National Investigation Agency’s counsel, senior advocate Sidharth Luthra, cited personal exigency, seeking delay, and the bench decided to hear the matter next week.
