Kashmir incomplete without Kashmiri Pandits, people awaiting their return: Mehbooba Mufti

Jammu: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, People’s Democratic Party president, Mehbooba Mufti, has said that Kashmir remains incomplete without Kashmiri Pandits, and the people of the Valley are eagerly awaiting their return.

According to Kashmir Media Service, speaking to reporters in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, Mehbooba Mufti said, “Kashmiri Pandits must take their own decision. We are eagerly waiting for their return as the Valley is incomplete without them.”

Mufti further stressed that Kashmiri Pandits should not be confined to specific areas, but should be allowed to live freely anywhere in the valley, integrating with local Kashmiri community.

“They are our brothers, and we want them to return with dignity and live together with us so that Kashmir becomes complete,” she added.

She urged the occupation authorities to ensure safety and security of Kashmiri Pandits and assured them that they are welcome to return to the Kashmir Valley whenever they choose.
