Hindu man celebrates Iran’s Supreme Leader killing by distributing sweets

Bilaspur: A member of a Hindu organisation in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur district celebrated the martyrdom of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei by distributing sweets and posting a video with abusive language against Muslims. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was martyred in a US-Israel strike in Tehran.

According to Kashmir Media Service, in the video, Thakur Ram Singh called Indian Muslims “traitors” and urged Hindus to “wake up” and recognise them.

The incident has drawn criticism from Muslim groups and those valuing harmony.

A case has been registered against Thakur Ram Singh.
