21 civilians abducted in Manipur
Imphal: Several passengers were abducted in BJP-ruled Manipur state, allegedly at Shangkai Kuki Village in Ukhrul district.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the victims were traveling on the Imphal-Ukhrul stretch. 21 people, including 5 females and 16 males, were later released after intense pressure, but their vehicles and phones are still missing.
The area is dominated by Kukis, while Ukhrul is a Naga-dominated district. Investigations are ongoing.
