IAF Wing Commander commits suicide in Chhattisgarh

New Delhi: An Indian Air Force (IAF) officer has died by suicide in Chhattisgarh state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Wing Commander Vipul Yadav, 39, was found dead at his residence in Raipur’s Vidhayak Colony. His domestic help discovered him in his room; his children were sleeping nearby.
Yadav’s wife, a former IAF personnel now working in Bengaluru’s IT sector, had reportedly had disputes with him. Personal issues might have led to the extreme step, officials said. No suicide note was found; investigations are underway.
Yadav was involved in anti-Naxal operations in Chhattisgarh.
