Posters with Pakistani flags, pictures of Quaid, Field Marshal appear in IIOJK

Srinagar: Posters have appeared in Srinagar and other areas of the valley in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, carrying greeting messages ahead of Pakistan Day to be celebrated on March 23.

According to Kashmir Media Service, posters with Pakistani flags, pictures of Quaid-e-Azam, and Field Marshal Asim Muneer have been displayed to mark March 23, Pakistan Day, in the occupied territory.

The posters maintained that Pakistan would never leave its Kashmiri brethren in the lurch under any circumstances and would continue to support the Kashmir cause through thick and thin.

The posters read: “People of Jammu and Kashmir demand an end to Indian illegal occupation and want freedom”, “Go India Go Back”, and “Jammu and Kashmir is part of Pakistan.”

They further stated that India has turned Kashmir into a military garrison. The posters added that Kashmiris want freedom from Indian illegal occupation and will never compromise on their just cause of accession to Pakistan. They also read, “It is time to unite and raise our voice against Indian occupation.”

It was expressed that the people of Pakistan would continue to work for a strong and stable country, as a stable Pakistan is a guarantee of peace in the region.

Political experts said the posters convey a message to India that it cannot weaken the Kashmiris’ liberation movement through military occupation and brutalities. They added that the posters clearly reflect the Kashmiris’ demand for freedom from Indian illegal occupation.

Meanwhile, posters were also uploaded on social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook from across the occupied territory, felicitating the people of Pakistan on the eve of their national day.
