Protests outside IIOJK Assembly over US-Israel attack on Iran

Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Congress MLA Irfan Hafiz Lone today staged a protest outside the Assembly complex against the attack on Iran, targeting the Indian government over its response to the situation.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Irfan Hafiz Lone, speaking to reporters outside the assembly, termed the attack on Iran the “murder of humanity” and criticized the Indian government for its “silence” on the escalating tensions in the Middle East.
“The silence of the India government is being widely questioned and has created an impression that the government has compromised,” MLA Lone said.
The Congress MLA further stated that the donations made by the people of Kashmir for Iran reflected the humanitarian values of the region.
Meanwhile, National Conference (NC) leaders staged a protest outside the Legislative Assembly, expressing solidarity with Iran amid the escalating Middle East crisis
Led by Tanvir Sadiq, the protest saw party members raise concerns over the ongoing conflict involving Iran and the US-Israel alliance. Tanvir Sadiq said the party and the IIOJK administration stand united in their position and have formally raised the issue in the Assembly through a call attention and adjournment motion.
He stated that no country has the right to attack another and termed the killing of a religious leader as condemnable, urging the country’s top leadership to take a clear stand on the issue.
The protest underscored the party’s position on international developments and called for broader condemnation of violence against political and religious figures.
