Naga woman found dead in Karnataka, foul play suspected
New Delhi: A young woman from Nagaland was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Karnataka, raising serious concerns and suspicions of foul play.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the 22-year-old woman, identified as Linsula, a resident of Kiphire district of Nagaland, was found hanging in her rented house in the Aravinda Nagar area of Chikkamagaluru district.
Family members said they were informed about the incident by one of her colleagues, following which her sister reached the spot along with officials and police.
In a complaint, the victim’s sister alleged that Linsula had been subjected to mental harassment by certain individuals prior to her death, and demanded a thorough investigation into the matter.
Police have registered a case and initiated further investigation, while calls are growing for a transparent probe to ensure justice.
