Indian army man dies from gunfire in Kupwara

Srinagar: An Indian Army man died after being injured by gunfire from service rifle in Kupwara district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred at an Army camp in the Langate area of the district, where the army man was injured by fire from his service weapon.
The Indian army man, identified as Jaideep (24), was shifted to the Army’s 92 Base Hospital in Badami Bagh Cantonment, Srinagar, where he later succumbed to his injuries, officials said. It is worth mentioning here that incidents of fratricides are common among Indian forces, which are often described as accidental fires.
