Kashmiri freedom activist Khalif Ahmed passes away in Sialkot

Sialkot: Renowned Kashmiri freedom activist Khalif Ahmed, also known as Shafqat Bhai, passed away this morning in Pakistan’s Sialkot city due to cardiac arrest. He was originally a resident of Udhampur district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, Khalif Ahmed, hailing from the Khunier area of Udhampur, was forced to migrate to Azad Jammu and Kashmir in 1998 due to the atrocities of Indian forces.
The late Khalif Ahmed was remembered as a courageous and principled individual who remained steadfast in his beliefs. His funeral prayer will be offered in Sialkot today after Maghrib prayers.
The Kashmiri community in Sialkot expressed deep sorrow over his passing, praying for the elevation of his ranks in the Jannah and for patience and strength for his bereaved family.
