Mirwaiz Umar Farooq expresses grief over demise of prominent Srinagar personalities
Srinagar: Senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed profound sorrow over the demise of several eminent and respected personalities of Srinagar city in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq also expressed deep grief at the passing away of individuals who had a long-standing and close association with the Mirwaiz family, including the sister of Ghulam Hassan Kaloo, Dr Farooq Ahmad Kaloo; the sister of Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo, Editor-in-Chief of Greater Kashmir and Kashmir Uzma; and the mother of Ijaz Ahmad Mir, Editor of Kashmir Canvas.
The Mirwaiz also extended condolences on the demise of Al-Haj Dr Ali Muhammad Mufti of Nowshera; Molvi Muhammad Yasin Tramboo of Rajouri Kadal, presently residing at Habee Colony, Lal Bazar; the mother of Riaz Ahmad Khan of Aarm Pora, Srinagar; the mother of Engineer Muhammad Ayub Baba of Buchpora, Ahmadnagar; and Riaz Ahmad Mir of Eidgah, Srinagar.
Extending heartfelt condolences and deep sympathy to the bereaved families, the Mirwaiz prayed for the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous for all the departed souls, the elevation of their ranks, and patience and fortitude for their families and loved ones in this hour of grief.
