IIOJK: Man found dead under mysterious circumstances in Budgam
Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Budgam district on Saturday.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the body was recovered from an orchard in the Sheikhpora area of Syed Abad. The deceased has been identified as Fayaz Ahmad Butt, a resident of Humhama.
Police said a team reached the spot after receiving information and took the body into custody.
Some media reports, citing officials, suggested that preliminary findings indicate the man may have taken the extreme step due to mounting financial hardships.
Police said an investigation has been initiated to ascertain the exact circumstances of the death, and all aspects of the case are being examined.
