Indian police kill youth in Jammu

Jammu: Indian police, during an operation, killed a youth in the Jammu district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian police conducted a search operation in the Miran Sahib area late Sunday night and arrested two individuals, identified as Abhineet Singh alias Nagi and his associate, officials said.
An official stated that police, acting on specific intelligence, laid a strategic trap near the designated area. When the suspects attempted to break through a naka on a motorcycle, the police intervened. The police team opened fire when the suspects tried to escape under the cover of darkness, the official claimed.
Abhineet Singh was found injured and was taken to a hospital, while the other suspect managed to flee. A search operation is currently underway to apprehend the absconder.
Officials said Abhineet Singh was shifted to Government Medical College, Jammu, for treatment, where, according to police and hospital sources, he succumbed to his injuries. Police officials described Abhineet Singh as a member of the Nagi gang and a history-sheeter allegedly involved in more than 13 FIRs.
