Mirwaiz condoles demise of noted scholar, physician Dr Javid Iqbal
Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference senior leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of noted scholar, physician, writer and public intellectual Dr Javid Iqbal.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a post on X said in the death of Dr Javid Iqbal, Kashmir has lost one of its finest minds whose wisdom, humility and commitment to knowledge touched countless lives.
He said Dr Javid possessed a deep insight into Kashmir’s history and society and enriched public understanding through his thoughtful writings and reflections.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, friends, colleagues and all those whose lives were enriched by Dr Javid Iqbal’s contributions.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
