Administration demolishes mosque in UP’s Sambhal district
Lucknow: The administration demolished a mosque in Sambhal district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the administration claimed that the mosque was built illegally on a part of the cemetery land.
Muslims of the area say that during the court proceedings, their position was not fully heard and a unilateral decision was given.
Muslims said that they were not given a chance to present their arguments.
It may be recalled that a few days ago, a madrassa was also demolished in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, while a mosque was demolished in Varanasi.
