Muslim showroom manager killed in Bihar after attack by former employee
Patna: A Muslim showroom manager was killed after being brutally attacked by a former employee in India’s Bihar state, raising fresh concerns over the safety of Muslims in the country.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mohammad Faiz Ahmad, manager of a Yamaha motorcycle showroom in Darbhanga district, was assaulted inside his office by a former employee identified as Sonu Paswan Kumar. The attacker struck him repeatedly with an iron rod and later stabbed him, causing fatal injuries.
The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras.
Police said the accused, who had previously worked at the showroom, was arrested and an investigation has been launched into the incident.
Political and social observers said the killing has added to growing concerns over incidents involving Muslims in India, stressing the need for impartial investigations and protection of minority communities. They urged the authorities to ensure justice for the victim and his family.
