BJP in panic over statehood campaign, resorting to misinformation: Sadhotra
Jammu: National Conference Additional General Secretary Ajay Kumar Sadhotra said BJP is in panic over NC’s statehood campaign and is resorting to misinformation against Omar Abdullah-led government.
According to Kashmir Media Service, addressing a public meeting at Muthi, Jammu, Sadhotra said BJP has failed to play a constructive opposition role in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and is misleading public opinion. He said NC has secured a clear mandate and the Omar Abdullah-led government will complete its full term.
“BJP should come to terms with the reality that National Conference remains the premier grassroots-based political force in IIOJK,” he said.
Sadhotra said BJP is rattled by the growing momentum behind the statehood movement and urged it to impress upon the Indian government to restore statehood as promised before the Indian Supreme Court.
