Dr Qazi Nisar remembered on his martyrdom anniversary in IIOJK

Srinagar: People reached the Martyrs’ Graveyard of Islamabad in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and paid tributes to Mirwaiz of south Kashmir Dr Qazi Nisar Ahmed on the occasion of his martyrdom anniversary.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Dr Qazi Nisar Ahmed was assassinated by unidentified gunmen in Dialgam, Islamabad, on June 19, 1994.
Every year, a mass rally is held on his martyrdom anniversary which is attended by thousands of people from all over the Kashmir valley, however, due to reasons known to everyone the public rally was not called this year despite which hundreds of his followers, including elders and children, offered Fateh to the slain leader.
The attendants from religious, political and civil society visited the graveyard and paid rich tributes to the slain Mirwaiz, who was also the founder of Muslim United Front, an amalgam of various religious and political schools of thought.
Remembering his services, Maulana Irshad Attari praised Dr Qazi Nisar for his role in the unity of Muslim Ummah in the year 1985-1987 Hurriyat leaders and organizations, paid rich tributes to the martyred leader.
Meanwhile, APHC-AJK chapter in Islamabad, today, also paying rich tributes to Dr Qazi Nisar Ahmed, said that the people of Kashmir would never forget the services of Dr Qazi Nisar Ahmad on the religious and political fronts.
