Civilian killed in shell blast in Baramulla
Srinagar: A civilian was killed in a shell blast in Baramulla district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a civilian, identified as Zabir Ahmad Bajad, was killed after an old unexploded shell detonated near Asha Post in the Sumli Wali Dhok area near Gulmarg area of district .
A senior police officer said the explosion occurred when the victim was handling the old shell. The officer said the exact nature of the explosive device and the circumstances leading to the blast are yet to be officially confirmed.
