CIK conducts raids, searches on houses in Srinagar

Srinagar : The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) along with Indian paramilitary forces personnel raided and searched several houses in Srinagar district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) along with Indian paramilitary forces personnel on Wednesday conducted simultaneous searches at two residential houses in Srinagar in connection with a case registered under the draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), Indian officials said.
One raid and search was carried out in the Bagh-i-Mehtab area at the residence of APHC-AJK leader Altaf Ahmad Bhat, and another at the residence of Kashmiri journalist Mukhtar Ahmad Baba in Sheikh-ul-Alam Colony, Nowgam area of the city.
Indian forces, while interrogating families, also seized house documents and mobile phones of the inmates.
