Modi govt continuously ignoring future of lakhs of students: Rahul Gandhi
New Delhi: Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, the lower house of Indian Parliament, Rahul Gandhi has said that the Modi government is a silent spectator to the repeated examination scams and is continuously ignoring the future of lakhs of students.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Rahul Gandhi wrote on the social networking site “X” that student leaders in Haryana have said that a secret PDF containing 100 pages was circulating before the UGC NET exam which was related to the process of preparing questions.
About 90 percent of the questions included in this PDF were similar to the original question paper of sociology. This question paper was allegedly being sold for Rs 225,000 in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan.
Rahul Gandhi said despite the repeated corruption in exams like NET and UGC, the Bharatiya Janata Party government is not getting away with it because the years of hard work and dedication of lakhs of students are of no importance in its eyes.
He said the government is avoiding accountability, the united voice of students across India can bring about a change in this system of corruption and this voice will be the precursor of an educational revolution in the future.
