APHC-AJK thanks Pakistan for observing “Kashmir Exploitation Day” in grand manner
Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has thanked the government and people of Pakistan for observing “Kashmir Exploitation Day” in a grand manner on August 5.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC-AJK Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi, General Secretary Pervaiz Ahmed Shah and senior leaders Muhammad Farooq Rehmani and Mahmood Ahmed Saghar in their separate statements issued in Islamabad said Pakistan is not only an important party to the Kashmir dispute but also a strong supporter and advocate of the right to self-determination of the Kashmiris.
They said India, by illegally and unilaterally taking away the special status of occupied Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 2019, seriously violated the existing United Nations resolutions regarding the Kashmir dispute and is pursuing a nefarious plan to convert the majority of Muslims in the territory into a minority through its colonialist tactics.
The APHC-AJK leaders said India’s status in occupied Jammu and Kashmir is nothing but that of an usurper and oppressor. They said Pakistan is providing full political, diplomatic and moral support to the Kashmiris struggling for the right to self-determination, for which the Kashmiris are grateful.
They said Pakistan once again gave a strong message to the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir, who are victims of Indian oppression, that they are not alone in their struggle based on truth, but stands side by side with them.
