According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC-AJK Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi, General Secretary Advocate Pervaiz Ahmad Shah, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, and other senior leaders including Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar, Altaf Hussain Wani, Shameem Shawl, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Zahid Safi, Ijaz Rahmani, Zahid Ashraf, Imtiaz Wani, Haji Muhammad Sultan, Syed Manzoor Ahmed Shah, Altaf Ahmed Butt, Sheikh Abdul Majid, Ashraf Dar, Javeed Ahmed Butt, and Syed Gulshan Ahmed, in their separate statements issued in Islamabad, said that the hearts of the Kashmiri people beat with the hearts of the Pakistani people, and no power in the world can end this eternal relationship.
They said Pakistan is a priceless gift from Almighty Allah, adding that the Kashmiris consider themselves a part of the country and are waging a struggle for the liberation of Jammu and Kashmir from Indian illegal occupation and its accession to Pakistan.
The APHC-AJK leaders said that as a party to the Kashmir dispute, Pakistan has always strived for its resolution in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations. They stressed that a strong and stable Pakistan is a guarantee to the success of the Kashmir freedom movement.
They said, “August 14, 1947, is a historic day when Pakistan was created, and India was divided on the concept of the Two-Nation Theory to grant the Muslims of South Asia an independent and sovereign state.” They expressed hope that, like in the past, Pakistan would continue its support to the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir on political and diplomatic fronts. They reiterated that the dream of a vibrant, stable, and prosperous Pakistan would remain elusive unless Kashmir was freed from Indian bondage.
