Students block road, protest over schoolgirl’s death in Doda
Srinagar: Students of Government Degree College (GDC) Doda staged a protest, blocking the road and demanding justice following the death of a 14-year-old school girl from Chatroo in Kishtwar district.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the protesters demanded strict action against all those responsible for the girl’s death and raised concerns over the circumstances surrounding the case.
The minor died while being taken for emergency medical treatment. A government school teacher and his brother have been arrested in connection with the case.
The protesters called for a thorough investigation and strict legal action against all persons found responsible.
The girl’s death has also led to protests in Chatroo and Kishtwar town, where people have demanded justice and accountability in the case.
