Pakistan’s Cyber Force exposed India’s digital vulnerabilities during Marka-e-Haq: Report
Islamabad: Pakistan’s Cyber Force carried out a coordinated cyber campaign during Operation Sindoor under Marka-e-Haq, targeting 54 Indian government websites and critical digital infrastructure, exposing serious weaknesses in New Delhi’s cyber defenses.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the operation revealed vulnerabilities that India had long sought to mask behind claims of technological superiority.
Following the cyber strikes, Indian authorities launched large-scale “hunting operations”. The National Investigation Agency raided five locations across five states and arrested two individuals in a case initially registered by Gujarat’s Anti-Terrorism Squad.
Forensic analysis of seized devices reportedly led investigators to examine a wider network and again allege links with Pakistan.
Analysts note that the raids and arrests instead reflect an acknowledgment of the seriousness of the breach. The incident has raised questions about whether innocent individuals are being branded with “foreign links” to cover up systemic cybersecurity failures.
The episode underscores that modern warfare is no longer limited to land, air and sea, and that a single vulnerability on the cyber front can undermine claims of an “invincible” digital and military posture.
