Indian army officer dies in Rajouri
Jammu: An Indian army officer died in Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir today (Friday).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the 26-year-old Lance Naik Rituk Choudhary died after falling from a forward post in the Nowshera area of the district.
He was evacuated to the Medical Inspection (MI) Room, Murlidhara, where he was declared dead, the Indian officials said.
The deceased was a resident of the Indian state, Gujarat.
Meanwhile, Indian Border Security Force personnel during a search operation arrested a civilian, identified as Nasir, in Kanha Chak near border in Jammu district.
The person was reportedly finding some medicine near the border area and was apprehended by Indian BSF personnel.
The person is a resident of Luna, Sialkot, Pakistan.
