Farooq Abdullah renews call for restoration of IIOJK’s special status
Says NC to continue constitutional, democratic struggle for Articles 370, 35A

Srinagar : In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), National Conference president Farooq Abdullah has reiterated that his party remains committed to the restoration of the territory’s special status and will continue its constitutional and democratic struggle for the objective.
According to Kashmir Media Service, addressing a gathering in Beerwah, Budgam, Farooq Abdullah said the special status was the right of the people of IIOJK and maintained that the constitutional relationship between India and Kashmir had been established through Articles 370 and 35A.

He also expressed hope that restoration of statehood would give the government greater authority to function effectively and help alleviate the difficulties faced by people in the occupied territory.
Farooq Abdullah urged people to remain vigilant against divisive forces, saying the National Conference’s core agenda was to safeguard the interests of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
