Economists expose worst economic crisis of Modi govt
Congress terms so-called 7.8pc growth rate as data manipulation
New Delhi: Economists have exposed the worst economic crisis of the incompetent Modi government.
According to Kashmir Media Service, former Indian Finance Secretary Subhash Chandra Garg has exposed the claims of so-called economic growth and said that the Modi government had to manipulate the data to affect the GDP estimate last year.
He said due to data manipulation, the GDP of the previous year was shown to be lower and the growth of the first quarter of the year was shown to be 10.3 percent higher. If this change had not been made in the GDP of the previous financial year, this growth would have been only 2.6 percent at current prices, he added.
Former Reserve Bank of India Governor Raghuram Rajan also raised the question that if the economy is really growing so fast, why is its impact not being seen in employment and investment?
According to the international journal Reuters, the opposition party Congress called the so-called 7.8 percent growth rate a manipulation of statistics.
It should be noted that the Modi’s Hindutva government is continuously hoodwinking the public and international institutions with fake statistics to hide its incompetence and maintain its grip on power.
