IIOJK Health employees announce 72-hour strike

Srinagar: Health employees in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have announced a 72-hour strike starting from September 9 over long-pending demands.
The decision was taken during a virtual meeting by representatives of employees from both Jammu and Kashmir regions. The announcement was made by the Joint Coordination Committee of the employees.
The committee said no concrete response was received from the authorities within the ultimatum period that ended on September 5.
The employees said all employees across the occupied territory will observe the strike in a peaceful and disciplined manner.
Committee leaders said the strike is a last resort after repeated representations and assurances failed to yield results, but expressed willingness for dialogue for an amicable resolution.
