CRPF head constable dies under suspicious circumstances in Kathua

Jammu: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) head constable died under suspicious circumstances at a college in the Maroli area of Lakhanpur in Kathua district.

The constable, officials said, fell unconscious at the college premises, following which he was immediately shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Kathua for treatment.

Doctors at the hospital later declared him dead on arrival.

The deceased was identified as Rakesh Kumar, a resident of Sikar, Rajasthan.

Police have initiated necessary proceedings in the matter to ascertain whether the incident was a case of suicide or fraternity-related killing.
