‘Where is Mercy?’–Turkish artist unites voices for Gaza and Kashmir
Ankara: Turkish songwriter Turgay Everen and renowned film actress Deniz Uğur, in a stirring display of solidarity, have collaborated to release a poignant song titled “Where is Mercy?”
According to Kashmir Media Service, the song, unveiled in Spain in connection with the Kashmir Solidarity Day, sheds light on the enduring struggles faced by the people of Gaza and Kashmir.
Written by Everen and passionately sung by Uğur, the composition aims to raise global awareness about the human rights violations in these regions, particularly after the special status of Kashmir was revoked.
Their collaboration underscores the urgent need for international support and empathy towards the ongoing plight of the Kashmiris and Palestinians, echoing the cry for compassion in tumultuous times.
