Overnight fire devastates houses and bakery shops in Bandipora
Srinagar: Two residential houses and two bakery shops were engulfed in flames during an overnight fire in Bandipora district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident took place in Ashtangoo village, last night, causing extensive damage to the properties. The affected individuals, identified as Ghulam Mohammad Ganai, Mohammad Akbar Ganai, Mohammad Rajab, Mohammad Sultan, and Billal Ahmad Ganai have suffered significant losses due to the blaze.
At present, the cause of the fire remains unknown. A case has been registered to facilitate further inquiries into the matter.
The rising incidents of suspicious fire underscore the importance of fire safety measures and highlight the need for vigilance in preventing such incidents in the disputed territory in future.
