Man drowns in River Jhelum in Baramulla; Rescue operation underway
Srinagar: A man on Monday evening drowned in the Jhelum River in Baramulla district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Police officials said on Tuesday.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a man, whose identity is not known yet, drowned in the Jhelum River at Kakarhaman area of Baramulla district on Monday evening.
A police officer said that a rescue operation is currently underway to retrieve the body from the Jhelum River. He mentioned that SDRF teams are on the job.
