Srinagar: Another injured jail inmate in a gas cylinder has succumbed to his injuries, taking the toll to two in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the injured inmate, Syed Tauseef Gilani, in a gas cylinder explosion inside the sub jail in Kupwara earlier this month, has succumbed to his injuries in Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) Hospital, Srinagar.
The body has been handed over to the family for last rites,” said an official.
It is pertinent to mention that nine jail inmates were injured after a gas cylinder exploded inside the sub jail in Kupwara on June 19, 2024.
