Omar Abdullah arrives in Delhi to discuss restoration of IIOJK’s statehood
New Delhi: Omar Abdullah, the Chief Minister of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, is set to advocate for the restoration of statehood during his meetings with Indian Prime Minister Narendera Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Omar Abdullah arrived in the Indian capital today. He will meet Amit Shah this evening, followed by a meeting with Modi tomorrow.
Omar Abdullah is expected to present a recently passed cabinet resolution calling for statehood for IIOJK. This marks Omar Abdullah’s first engagement with Modi and Shah since his party secured a majority in the recent so-called elections in the occupied territory.
