Protest demo held in Muzaffarabad against India’s tyranny in IIOJK
According to Kashmir Media Service, the protesters shouted slogans against Indian atrocities and strongly condemned the cruel actions of the Hindutva government on August 5, 2019.
The protesters were raising slogans in favour of freedom and against Indian brutalities. The protestors also carried banners appealing to the United Nations for immediate intervention to resolve the Kashmir dispute.
Speakers addressing the protest said the Indian troops had deprived the Kashmiri people of all their basic human rights and civil liberties. They said the people of Jammu and Kashmir want complete freedom from India and demanded of the United Nations to take notice of India’s ongoing state terrorism and human rights violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The protesters marched from the Old Secretariat to Burhan Wani Shaheed Chowk.
Pasban-e-Hurriyat Chairman Uzair Ahmad Ghazali led the protest demonstration, while Hurriyat leaders Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Usman Ali Hashim, Muhammad Shafiq Inqilabi, Muhammad Siddiq Qureshi, Muhammad Altaf Minhas, Alifuddin Dar, Imtiaz Aziz Khan, Syed Khalid Shah and others also attended the protest demonstration.
