Muslim girl stabbed to death while on a morning walk in Bihar
Patna: A Muslim girl, out on her usual morning walk, was killed after repeatedly being stabbed with a knife in Bihar state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Hindu student Amlesh Yadav took out a knife and attacked the hapless girl repeatedly resulting in her death near Chandni Chowk, a popular walking spot in Darbhanga area of the state.
The incident has sparked widespread condemnation and raised concerns over safety and communal harmony in the area.
The exact motive behind the incident is not clear.
The local police have registered a case and initiated an investigation. Senior officials have assured swift action to apprehend the perpetrators, according to media reports.
