Muslim inmates protest for fruits to break fast in Kalaburgi jail
Kalaburgi: Muslim inmates at Karnataka‘s Kalaburgi Central Jail staged a protest demanding authorities to give them fruits to break their fasts on Monday.
According to Kashmir Media Service, speaking to the media, the inmates said that every year the authorities provided them fruits, however, this year they received fruits for only ten days.
The prisoners also said the jail security staff members are showing objection over fruits being served to them. They added that due to their objections, the authorities stopped providing them fruits.
