36 Amarnath pilgrims injured in road mishap

Jammu: At least 36 Amarnath pilgrims were injured in a serial collision involving four buses on the Srinagar-Jammu Highway near Chanderkote in Ramban district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the accident occurred due to brake failure in one of the buses, causing a chain reaction collision.
Rescue teams from the police and health department responded promptly, and all injured pilgrims were shifted to District Hospital, Ramban, for medical treatment.
Most injured pilgrims have been discharged after receiving first aid, and alternative transport arrangements have been made for them to continue their journey.
Medical Superintendent of District Hospital, Ramban, Sudarshan Singh Katoch, confirmed that all pilgrims are in stable condition and have received first aid.
Further investigation into the incident is underway to determine the exact cause and circumstances surrounding the accident.
