Kashmiri civil society reaffirms unyielding resolve for freedom

Srinagar: Civil society in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has sent out a strong message of defiance to the Modi-led Indian regime, reiterating that no amount of violence, oppression, or coercion can suppress the Kashmiri people’s unwavering aspiration for freedom.

According to Kashmir Media Service, prominent voices from occupied Kashmir’s civil society in their media interviews on condition of anonymity for fearing reprisals from the Hindutva regime asserted that bullets, arrests, and torture will not break the spirit of Kashmiris who remain firmly committed to their UN-mandated right to self-determination.

“We are willing to take bullets to our chest—but we will never surrender to India’s tyranny,” they declared. Rejecting Modi’s Hindutva-driven policies in the occupied territory, the civil society members warned that the RSS-backed Indian regime will ultimately fail in its bid to enforce communal agenda in Kashmir.

“Kashmiris have always stood united against Hindutva designs, and our resistance continues with greater resolve than ever before,” they said.

The civil society activists further emphasized that freedom is the only goal, and surrender is not an option. “The dawn of freedom is inevitable,” they added, calling Modi’s colonial policy in Kashmir a direct challenge to global conscience. They urged the international community to break its silence and hold India accountable for its war crimes in the occupied territory.
