Islamabad: The relatives of 65 innocent civilians martyred and more than 240 injured in India’s cowardly missile attacks on Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in May this year, using the Pahalgam false flag operation as a justification, are awaiting justice from the international community.
According to Kashmir Media Service, these martyrs, who were the victims of Indian aggression, included women, children and the elderly.
During the Indian attacks, seven soldiers of the Pakistan Army and six officers of the Pakistan Air Force also lost their lives, while more than 78 security personnel were injured.
Pakistan strongly condemned these attacks and demanded immediate justice from the international community. As a result of Indian missile attacks, 30 civilians were martyred and 68 were injured in Punjab, while two people were martyred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while one civilian was martyred and 11 were injured in Sindh.
The most devastation caused by Indian attacks was in Azad Jammu and Kashmir where 32 civilians were martyred and 164 were injured.
The atmosphere of grief and sorrow still prevails in the affected areas and the people are in deep shock.
According to experts, India deliberately targeted urban areas like Muzaffarabad, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal and Kotli, which was a clear violation of the Geneva Convention and international laws.
Such attacks on the civilian population exposed the inhuman and cruel behavior of India, which was proving its cowardice by targeting the unarmed people.
Pakistani officials say that the women, children and elderly victims are still waiting for justice. If the international community does not hold India accountable for this aggression, its silence will not only strengthen further Indian aggression but will also seriously endanger the peace and stability of the entire region.
