BJP will replace 65 lakh genuine voters in Bihar with fake ones: Rahul
Patna Seeing through the deep design of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in deleting names of 65 lakh voters from the electoral rolls, Opposition Leader in Indian Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said the BJP Narender Modi govt’s intention is to replace all these voters with fake ones.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Rahul Gandhi addressing a gathering in Bihar noted that the BJP added about one crore fresh voters in Maharashtra state and stole the election there. Now, he said, the BJP has tweaked its game in Bihar state by first deleting names of voters and plans to add new ones later.
Snatching away the right to vote is just the beginning, it will be followed by cancellation of ration cards, then land and eventually every other right, the Congress leader said. He said that only the names of Dalits, Extremely Backward Classes, Backward Classes, poor and minorities had been removed, while no name of any rich person had been deleted.
Rahul Gandhi said the right to vote has been granted and guaranteed by the Constitution. Holding a copy of the Constitution in his hand, he said, the BJP was attacking it by stripping people of their right to vote.
He said he had already caught the BJP stealing the votes. He disclosed that Mahadevapura state was just the beginning of providing proof of “election theft”. He said, the Congress will present more conclusive cases, similar to what was uncovered in Mahadevapura in Karnataka, where about one lakh fake voters were added helping the BJP win Bangalore Central parliamentary seat.
