APHC urges world to end political injustice in Kashmir

Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed deep regret that the world continues to watch in silence as the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir face escalating repression and political injustice at the hands of India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said that, much like in occupied Kashmir, Muslims in Palestine are also being targeted and subjected to brutal oppression.
He said it is imperative for the international community to break its deafening silence on Kashmir, where people have been subjugated under India’s apartheid regime that is replicating Israel’s oppressive model in the region.
He emphasized that the time has come for the world to abandon its policy of indifference towards the plight of Kashmiris and take meaningful steps to resolve the long-standing dispute, which poses a grave threat to peace and stability in South Asia
