Two more teachers sacked as crackdown on employees continuesin IIOJK

Srinagar: The Modi-led Indian regime has intensified its crackdown on government employees in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir by terminating two more teachers on the baseless pretext.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the teachers — Ghulam Hussain and Majid Iqbal Dar of the Education Department — were dismissed under Article 311(2)(c) of the Indian Constitution, which empowers the authorities to sack employees without inquiry under the guise of “state security.”

Ghulam Hussain is from the village of Kalwa-Malas in the Mahore area of Reasi district, while Majid Iqbal Dar is from the Khewra area of Rajouri district.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference and other rights groups have repeatedly condemned such arbitrary actions, terming them part of India’s coercive campaign to silence Kashmiri voices and enforce submission through fear.

Since 2021, the occupation authorities have dismissed over 80 Kashmiri government employees, including teachers, scholars, and civil servants, in the name of “national security.” The APHC said the move exposes the BJP regime’s colonial intent to replace local officials with loyal non-Kashmiri recruits as part of its broader settler-colonial agenda in the occupied territory.
