Mirwaiz pays rich tributes to Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) on his death anniversary
Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference senior leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has paid rich tributes to the first Caliph of Islam Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) on his death anniversary.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement issued in Srinagar described him as a towering figure of faith, an exemplary leader, and a lifelong protector and benefactor of Islam and the Muslim Ummah.
He said that Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) was among the most distinguished companions of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) , whose unparalleled sacrifices, unwavering loyalty, and tireless efforts for the propagation and safeguarding of Islam remain etched in history. His closeness to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), deep sincerity, and selfless devotion make his life a timeless model for Muslims, he added.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said the true way to honour Hazrat Siddiq-e-Akbar (RA) is to reflect upon and reform our lives in the light of his faith, integrity, sacrifice, and profound love for Islam and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUP). Following his example, he said, is the path to unity, moral strength, and success in this world and the Hereafter.
