IIOJK Congress protests rising prices, Bhalla flays BJP govt
Jammu, June 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Congress staged a protest in Jammu against rising prices of essential commodities, fuel and cooking gas.
According to Kashmir Media Service, led by Congress working president Raman Bhalla, demonstrators raised slogans against the BJP-led Indian government.
Bhalla called the price hikes a result of “pro-rich, anti-poor policies”, saying the poor, middle class and farmers are bearing the brunt. Sawhney said inflation has widened the gap between rich and poor.
Congress leaders demanded immediate relief for households struggling with costs of food, medicines and daily essentials.
