India flouting international laws, denying kashmiris basic rights: APHC

Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said India is continuously flouting all international laws and conventions in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, while depriving Kashmiris of basic human rights.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar said New Delhi is using black laws like Public Safety Act and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act to arrest and detain people arbitrarily. It said the Modi regime revoked Kashmir’s special status in flagrant violation of international laws.
APHC stated that India is settling non-Kashmiris in IIOJK and granting domicile status to non-locals on a fast-track basis against UN resolutions. It added that the Modi regime is grabbing Kashmiris’ land and properties in violation of international norms, while forcibly denying Kashmiris their universally recognized right to self-determination.
The APHC said Indian intransigence remains the main hurdle in implementing UN resolutions on Kashmir, and stressed that India must be punished for violating global laws and agreements in IIOJK.
