Cockroach Janta Party holds protest in Telangana, demands Pradhan’s resignation

Hyderabad: Cockroach Janta Party and other organisations held a protest in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, on Sunday demanding the resignation of Indian Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the paper leak and irregularities in board’s on-screen marking system.

According to Kashmir Media Service, protesters gathered in large numbers at Dharna Chowk to voice frustration against the NDA government at the Centre. They raised slogans including ‘we want justice’ and ‘resign, Dharmendra Pradhan’.

Activist Sonam Wangchuk is scheduled to address the gathering, according to a social media post.

A senior police official said permission was granted to the party to hold the dharna till this evening.
