No compromise on IWT, if we have to fight a war, we will fight: Bilawal
Gilgit: Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that they will not compromise on the Indus Waters Treaty and “If we have to fight a war, we will fight, India wants to use the Indus Waters Treaty as a weapon.”
According to Kashmir Media Service, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari addressing the main oath-taking ceremony in Gilgit paid tribute to the sacrifices of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and said that the people here are patriotic Pakistanis, the people of Gilgit still remember Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
He said the people of Gilgit-Baltistan achieved independence from the Dogra Raj and created a prominent place in history with their struggle and sacrifices.
He said the mandate of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan is a heavy responsibility on our shoulders, removing the problems of the people here is our priority, the youth of Gilgit-Baltistan are talented and skilled, we will provide the best opportunities for the youth.
Bilawal said, “Politics in Pakistan has become another name for fighting, we will work together with all political parties for the country, I am grateful to the Prime Minister for accepting the mandate in Gilgit-Baltistan.”
He said, “Our forces gave a crushing defeat to India in the war, I want to tell Modi that we know his conspiracy, Israel’s conspiracy failed and Modi wants to infiltrate Pakistan through Afghanistan.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that GB and Azad Kashmir will have to be given constitutional rights, GB and Azad Kashmir are not ready to run on the old salary, the decision of some parties not to participate in the elections is regrettable.
